CAWE was born from a girl’s dream of the brand’s founder, Catarina Mendes.
Since she was little, Catarina has put her ideas and models onto paper, dressing her dolls.
This passion, combined with her professional experience in the world of fashion, led to the creation of a clothing brand to which she gave the acronyms of his own name “Ca” by Catarina and “Me” by Mendes, inverting the acronym to “We” . This is how “Cawe” was born in 2019.
In 2020, Catarina took her creations off paper and “Cawe” opened her own studio with her own production. Since 2021, the brand has been offering a personalized tailoring service, as Customers can style their pieces.
